Program Privacy Notice.

BasedVox LLC, an Arizona limited liability company trading as Guruvox, is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through the Talent Scout Program. For any privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at talent@guruvox.com.

Application data. The name and phone number you supply on the application form, together with your Google account email address, unique Google user ID, display name, and profile photo URL received from Google when you sign in.

Approval and program state. Your assigned Talent Scout handle, your commission rate, your program status (pending, approved, suspended), your referral URL, and administrator notes on your account.

Referral records. The Guruvox applications submitted through your referral URL, the resulting customers we approve, the invoices they pay, and the commissions we accrue and pay to you.

Payout data. A connected-account identifier issued by Stripe and status flags returned by Stripe about your onboarding progress and payout eligibility. Stripe itself collects your identity, tax, and banking information directly under Stripe's own privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full bank account number, tax identification number, or identity-document data.

Communications. Any correspondence between you and our team about your application, your account, or your payouts.

When a prospect clicks your referral URL, we set a first-party cookie on guruvox.com containing your Talent Scout handle and a randomly generated click identifier. The cookie expires after 30 days.

If the prospect submits a Guruvox application before the cookie expires, we read the cookie server-side, resolve your handle to your Talent Scout account, and record the association in our systems for commission attribution.

This cookie does not track the prospect across other websites, is not shared with third parties, and is used solely to credit qualifying referrals. Prospects can clear it in their browser at any time.

We use the information above to: (a) review your application and communicate our decision; (b) authenticate you when you sign in to your Talent Scout dashboard; (c) attribute referral signups to your account and calculate commissions; (d) pay you via Stripe; (e) issue any tax reporting form required by law; (f) provide support; (g) detect and prevent fraud; (h) enforce our Program Terms.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We do not disclose your identity, your commission rate, or your referral volume to Guruvox customers, to other Talent Scouts, or to any third party, except: (a) as required by law or valid legal process; (b) to our processors listed in the general Guruvox Privacy Policy under the same categories; (c) to Stripe for the sole purpose of paying you; (d) to tax authorities where legally required; (e) to potential acquirers of BasedVox LLC in the ordinary course of due diligence, subject to confidentiality.

We do not disclose the identity of the customers you have referred to any other Talent Scout. Your own dashboard shows your referred customers by name and brand solely for your own tracking.

Aggregate anonymised data (e.g. total commissions paid across the program, total number of active Talent Scouts) may be disclosed in marketing, investor updates, or required regulatory filings.

While you are active. We retain your application, program state, referral records, commissions ledger, and payout history for as long as you are an approved Talent Scout.

After termination. We retain the same records for at least 12 months following termination of your participation, plus any longer period required for tax reporting, dispute resolution, or legal-hold obligations. After that period, we purge program records from our production systems, subject to retention of tax-report copies for the period required by U.S. federal and state law.

Earlier purge on request. You may request earlier purge of non-tax-related records at any time by emailing talent@guruvox.com. We complete the purge within 30 days.

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for high-sensitivity fields, role-based access controls, and audit logging of privileged operations. Payout mechanics rely on Stripe's independently-audited infrastructure.

No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you within the timeframes required by law.

Subject to the laws of your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, and (subject to tax-retention obligations) delete the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact talent@guruvox.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you at the email address on file at least 14 days before they take effect. Non-material changes may be made without notice; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
